Gourmet foods

Those who are interested in gourmet foods likely have a large interest in cheese. This is why so many gourmet food baskets include different types of cheeses.

One of the top kinds of gourmet foods is Brie cheese. One of the top kinds of cheese in the Brie family is Fougerus. As is true with most Brie cheeses, Fougerus includes a white mold rind and a soft consistency.

However, one thing that makes this cheese a bit different from other Brie cheeses that are gourmet foods is the fact that it has a sweet, milky flavor. This cheese also is well known for the sent associated with it. This scent might best be described as earthy.

Just like many other gourmet foods, this cheese was first produced by artisans for single-family consumption. However, thanks to the popularity of this cheese, it is now produced on a much larger scale.

Still, thanks to the fact that this cheese requires time and fine ingredients to make, it is one of the gourmet foods that comes at a price.
